INDEXI - Plima (1972) EP

At the beginning of the 70's INDEXI toured extensively and played at many pop festivals, making plans at the same time for recording their first LP album. Producers in the phonographic companies, however, insisted on their making hit-singles only. In this period they played in Soviet Union, Poland and Bulgaria in addition to frequent concert performances across former Yugoslavia. This is their fourth EP from 1972. (from exyupoprockmadness)

KORNELYANS - Not An Ordinary Life (1974)

"Not An Ordinary Life" is the second album by KORNI GRUPA (aka KORNELYANS. Album was recorded in Italy with better sound equipment and more careful production. The material ranged from the complex jazzy progressive rock of the title track to the sentimental (but memorable} ballad "Generation 1942". "Fall Off The Land Of Woman" was a re-recording of "Bezglave Ja-Ha Horde" from their first album. This is one of the best Yugoslavian rock albums ever made, really a great achievement. SUPER NOVA - Super Nova (1985-89)

One of the first critically acclaimed acts was the rock band SUPER NOVA from Skopje, which utilized rap music elements in some of its songs. The group recorded several rap music tracks for the music production branch of the Macedonian Radio-Television, including "Hip-hop blues", Rap, "Vero" and others, some including pop, rock, funk, reggae or other elements. One of those songs was the anti-war themed "Rapovanje". Its catchy rhyme, ("Better to rap, than to wage war") made it very popular across the country in 1989. In the same year, they performed at two prominent festivals in Subotica and Zaječar). The most notable members of the group were: Vikto Mastoridis (guitar, vocals), Miki Kostadinov (drums), Vlatko Georgiev (keyboards) and Vlasto Janevik-Lucky (bass). EKATARINA VELIKA - Live 1986 (1987)
