VJEŠTICE were a highly influential Croatian and former Yugoslav etno-rock supergroup formed in Zagreb in 1987. Known for their unique blend of traditional Croatian folk music, world music, and rock, they remain a staple of the Zagreb music scene. The band was formed by legendary musicians from three of the biggest bands in the 1980s Yugoslav New Wave: Srđan Sacher (from Haustor) – bass, songwriting, and creative mastermind, Boris Leiner (from Azra) – drums and vocals and Mladen Juričić "Max" (from Film) – guitar and vocals. They disbanded in 1996.
