ANASTASIA - Na rijekah Vavilonskih (1990) 12" Single

 

 

ANASTASIA is a Macedonian band from Skopje (ex-Yugoslavia),  formed in 1987 as "Apokrifna realnost" and changed their name to "Anastasia" in 1989. The band in it's music combines Byzantine church music and traditional ethnic rhythms and modern rock. They play acoustic instruments that are typical for their geographical region as is the kaval (flute), gajde (bagpipe), tapan (drum), and also use modern technology: computers, samplers, and synthesizers. They are best known for writing the soundtrack for the film by Milčo Mančevski " Before the Rain". This is their 12" Single record from 1990. (from wikipedia)

BOEMI - Boemski rock (1968)

 

BOEMI were founded in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 1965. The members of the original and most frequently featured lineup were: Goran Romčevic (lead guitar), Zlatko Borić (rhythm guitar), Dragan Sakan (bass guitar), Mirko Petrušinski (drums), and Ilija Ljubibratić (vocals). Inspired by the rock music of that era, the band members composed song "Boemski rock", which they used to kick off all their performances and which was recorded by Goran Romčević in 2012.

SREBRNE PRUGE - Zov daljine (1965-1966)

 

SREBRNE  PRUGE founded in 1962, in Dubrovnik, Croatia (ex-Yugoslavia). They recorded several songs for Radio Dubrovnik between 1965 and 1966. They split up in 1966.

ZOK - Zok (1982)

 

 

ZORAN CVETKOVIĆ-ZOK is a Croatian guitarist, composer and lyricist. He was one of the founders of rock group Prljavo kazalište, and was also a member of Parni valjak and Dorian Gray. In 1980 he founded a group called Parliament. In 1982 he released his first solo album "Zok". During the second half of the 1980s, he playing mostly as a studio musician and a short working again with Parni valjak. Today he lives in London where he works in his own studio. (from wikipedia)

BIS-BEZ was formed in 1965, in Skopje, Macedonia (ex-Yugoslavia) from the two best rock groups Bezimeni and Biseri. They never realized no one record. On "Zagreb Pop Festival" in 1970, they were winners with song "Dal' da plačam, il' da peam".
